Welcome to Non-duality Dorset

Non-duality Dorset was launched in October 2010 with the intention of bringing together those that wish to participate in the sharing of truth in the form of meetings and events, also known as "satsang", exploring non-duality/advaita, consciousness and the nature of reality.

NEW FOR 2012 - We are expanding our meetings in 2012 to include speakers that fall outside the concepts of "non-duality". These speakers will be sharing the message of oneness, consciousness, enlightenment and awakening, all of which in their unique way point to the nature of reality and the presence of being. These will continue to be by invitation only.

About Non-duality

Non-duality is in the vein of the ancient eastern spiritual tradition of "Advaita Vedanta" which has a meaning of "not two". How this translates into the message of non-duality is quite simply that there is only this moment, and within this moment there is only ever oneness in appearance as many, playing the game of life.

Self-realization, enlightenment, or the realization of this oneness of who we are, is not some distant goal that only a few can attain, and it is not some goal that can be achieved through an applied practice or technique. The Self we strive to become or seek to find is that which is always and already present, it is that which doesn't come and go, it is that which is already complete and does not need to be found. The love, peace, and happiness we have all been seeking in order to achieve a sense of wholeness is already here and, in fact, is already who we are.

There is only ever "This", what is arising in the present moment. "This" is Life. It is right here, right NOW, and "you" are it. And somewhere beyond thought you have always known this.

European Science and Non-duality Conference 2012

This year sees the very first European Science and Non-duality Conference which is to be held in the Netherlands from 29 May to 3 June 2012.

The Science and Non-duality Conference (also known as SAND) is a yearly event in the United States, where leading scientists, philosophers and spiritual teachers gather to explore a new understanding of who we are, both as individuals and as a society. This exploration is grounded in cutting-edge science and consistent with the ancient wisdom of non-duality - the deep understanding of the interconnectedness of life.

The first SAND Europe will be a 5-day international event with 2 days of pre-conference workshops followed by a 3-day conference with talks, panels, presentations, satsangs, meditation, film, music and dance.
