Richard Sylvester
"Nothing can keep us away from liberation. But if anything could, it would be the very act of searching for liberation, because liberation is the simple seeing of this and the recognition that it is enough. As long as we are searching, we are looking for something else, in some other place, in some other time. We are looking for something that doesn't exist, because nothing exists anywhere else, in any other time. There is no other place and no other time. Everything exists only in this. This is already liberation."
Richard's meetings point to the ultimate reality – that there is no separation and everything is simply unfolding of its own accord. When this is seen, it is recognised that this is already what we have been seeking. This is why seeing liberation brings an end to searching.
Liberation arises spontaneously. One moment there's somebody there, the next moment there isn't. One moment there’s somebody crossing a field, the next moment there's just crossing a field. It's as simple as that.
Richard has written three books about non-duality, "I Hope You Die Soon", "The Book Of No One" and "Drink Tea, Eat Cake". He gives talks on non-duality in England, France and Germany.
